Obituary of Brian Lunsford

Brian Keith Lunsford, 55, loving father and husband of Kay Elliott Lunsford, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012. Born on November, 8, 1957, in Conway, he was the son of the late O.E. "Bud" Lunsford and the late Marilyn Simpson Lunsford. Mr. Lunsford was a member of Georgetown Church of God and was the owner and operator of Georgetown Electric Motor. Mr. Lunsford influenced many young girls through his love of softball. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; three children, Brian K. Lunsford, Jr., Kelli L. Taylor (Derek) and Katie Lunsford all of Georgetown; three sisters, Cheryl Andrews (Butch) of Conway, Dawn Kanarish (Jeff) of Atlanta, GA and Alisa Lunsford of Surfside Beach; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandparents, Howard and Elizabeth Simpson. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Monday, December 17, 2012 at Georgetown Church of God with the Rev. Ossie Deese officiating. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM Sunday at Graham Funeral Home.
