Obituary of Joseph McDaniel

Joseph "Joey" N. McDaniel, 54, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Born on November 29, 1958, in Georgetown, he was a son of Lois Millwood McDaniel and the late Joseph Holt McDaniel. Mr. McDaniel was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and was the owner and operator of Coastal Waterworks. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed fishing, cookouts and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter Sophia. Survivors include his mother of Georgetown; two daughters, Julia G. Livingston (Paul) of Hanahan and Rachel L. McDaniel of Georgetown; three sisters, Teresa J. Cumbie (Milton) of Philadelphia, MS, Linda Bates (Norman) of Georgetown and Susan Smith of Georgetown; three brothers, Ricky McDaniel (Vickie) of Andrews, Herbert McDaniel of Georgetown and Johnny McDaniel of Columbia; and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Arden Hallman officiating.
