Carol Ann Clemmons Howard, 68, wife of Lonnie C. Howard, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Born on June 25, 1945, in Wilmington, NC, she was a daughter of the late Lofton B. Clemmons and the late Lena C. Clemmons. Mrs. Howard attended Georgetown First Assembly of God and enjoyed fishing, reading, traveling, going on vacation and shopping.
Survivors include her husband of Georgetown; three children, Della A. Lambert Bryant (Greg) of Georgetown, Benjamin B. Lambert, Jr. of Georgetown and Tracy M. Lambert Russ (Dennis) of Georgetown; two step children, Patricia Thomas (Fredrick) of Jacksonville, FL and Lonnie C. Howard, II (Gigi) of Liberty Township, OH; three grandchildren, Meghan B. Goins (Wendell), Dalton Bryant and Lindy M. Hall; four step grandchildren, Cindy Hatchett (Kent), Joseph Thomas (Krista), Fred Thomas and Jessica Howard; one great grandchild, Jackson D. Truluck; four step great grandchildren, Bryan Hatchett, Lauren Hatchett, Tanner Thomas and Jase Thomas; two sisters, Brenda C. Moree (Logan) of Georgetown and Deborah C. McKenna (James) of Florence; one brother, Louis Clemmons of Hiram, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Patrick Lambert; and a brother, Marshall R. Clemmons.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Georgetown First Assembly of God with Rev. Dave Hoskins officiating. Inurnment will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
