Obituary of Maxie Altman

Maxie Dean Altman, Sr., 59, husband of Elaine Howard Altman died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Born on November 11, 1951 in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Robert Altman and the late Dorothy Howard Altman. Mr. Altman was retired from Georgetown Steel and enjoyed reading science fiction novels, surf fishing and coaching baseball as well as football.
Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; two sons, Maxie Dean Altman, Jr. of Georgetown and Robert Travis Altman of Wichita Falls, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Jean Frasier; and two brothers, Donald. W. Altman and Gwen Altman.
A Graveside Service will be held at 3 PM Friday, December 17, 2010 in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Fred Ady officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
