Obituary of Wilma Cannon Cook

Wilma Lullene Cannon Cook, 85, widow of Loyd Joseph “Pete” Cook, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Tidelands Community Hospice House.
Born on April 23, 1929, in Conway, she was a daughter of the late Edgar Norman Cannon and the late Thelma Owens Cannon. Mrs. Cook was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church and the Violet Long Sunday School Class. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, watching birds and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include five children, Jimmy L. Cook (Stephany) of Georgetown, Rodney N. Cook (Lucile) of Georgetown, Wanda C. Teeter (Dan Drumm) of Andrews, Michael V. Cook (Donna) of Georgetown and Donna C. Richardson (Rob) of Georgetown; 11 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Velma Cook (Eugene “Naught”) of Georgetown; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Dillon Cook; six brothers, Odell Cannon, Wyatt Cannon, Harris Cannon, Ronald Cannon, Nelson Cannon and Lamar Cannon; and two sisters, Nettie Mae Graham Skipper and Murrie Lee Cannon.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Lakewood Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Deeter officiating. Burial will follow in Pauley Swamp Cemetery in Conway.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at Graham Funeral Home.
