Obituary of Betty Jean Roberts

Betty Jean Landress Roberts, 83, widow of Arthur Leon Roberts, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Prince George Health Care.
Born on December 14, 1930, in Swansea, she was a daughter of the late Sanford Russell Landress and the late Mary Margaret Rhoden Landress. Mrs. Roberts and her identical twin sister, Peggy Ann Clemons were known as twin drum majorettes in Andrews and also known for being two of the prettiest girls around. She was a member of Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church and enjoyed Bible studies, cooking, working with flowers, painting and writing. Mrs. Roberts had a great love for people and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Survivors include three children, Arthur L. “Rick” Robert, Jr. (Patti) of Philadelphia, PA, Debra N. Roberts (Gary Flowers) of Brokenbow, OK and Mark M. Roberts (Mandy) of Georgetown; nine grandchildren, Joel Roberts, Hannah Puckett, Aaron Smith, Chris Smith, Drew Nesbitt, Sam Nesbitt, Seth Roberts, Matt Roberts, and Liam Roberts; 10 great grandchildren; two sisters, Marketta and Kitty; a brother, Russell; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy and Richiedean; and a brother, Bill
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
