Obituary of Richard Morin

Richard Lee Morin, 63, husband of Joy Carnley Morin, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born on November 23, 1948, in Brookline, MA, he was the son of the late Laura Poole. Mr. Morin was a member of Wayne United Methodist Church where he served as a sound technician. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed building rice field trunks, grilling, working with computers and finding a bargain. Mr. Morin was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; two children, Jamison Morin and Jessica Morin both of Georgetown; a brother in law, George Carnley (Rosie) of Georgetown; one aunt, Rebecca Walker of Georgetown; mother in law, Vernelle Carnley of Georgetown; numerous cousins; and special friends, Bill and Miriam Mace and Jeff and Dianne Johnson all of Georgetown. He was preceded in death by his mother and many other family members. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Wayne United Methodist Church with the Rev. Danny Chamblee officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
