Mr. Norman L. Cribb, 75, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Tidelands Community Hospice.
He was born May 28, 1939 in Johnsonville, South Carolina. He was a son of the late Hoyt Cribb and Alvera Parrott Cribb.
A funeral service, with military honors, will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 2pm at First Baptist Church in Georgetown, South Carolina. Burial will follow the service at Williams Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Cribb was Navy veteran. He retired from International Paper and was a member of the Quarter Century Society. He enjoyed farming and working on cars. He loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are: his wife, Carolyn Miller Cribb; two daughters, Brenda C. DeLuca (Eric) of Georgetown, and Tonya C. Curran (Eddie) of DeLand, Florida; three grandchildren, Jesse DeLuca, Elijah DeLuca, and Isla Curran; three sisters, Verlene C. Cooper of Florence, Mary C. Dudley of Florence, and Sandra C. Tisdale of Florence; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, LaFoy Cribb and Lincoln Cribb; and one sister, Lou Alice C. Eaddy.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Graham Funeral Home, 2200 S. Fraser Street, from 6pm-8pm.
Memorials may be made to Tidelands Community House at 2591 N. Fraser Street, Georgetown, SC 29440 or the First Baptist Church Building Fund at 219 Cleland Street, Georgetown, SC 29440.
