Obituary of John Allen Williams

Georgetown John Allen Williams, 69, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015 at Tidelands Hospice House. He was born on August 8, 1945 in Georgetown County and was a son of the late Willie Nelson Williams and Thelma Daisy Moore Williams. Mr. Williams was a retired farmer who enjoyed working on the farm and raising animals. He loved helping others and spending time with his family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18, 2015 at 6pm at Freedom Tabernacle Full Gospel Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5pm-6pm at the church. Burial will be on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 11am at Hucksfield Cemetery. Surviving are: his wife Lois Matthews Williams; two daughters, Karen Williams Recendiz (Lazarito) of Pleasant Hill and Renee Howard (Jason) of Georgetown; six grandchildren, Ryan, Jessie, Austin, Morgan, Cristian, and Addison; one brother, Jimmy Williams (Gwen) of Pleasant Hill; two sisters, Susie Poston (Glenn) of Andrews and Dorothy Powell (William) of Williams Hill; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Melissa Ann Williams and three sisters, Juanita Williams, Willie Mae Williams, and Lizzie Bell Hewitt.
