Obituary of Mildred Banta

Mildred L. Banta, 90, passed away January 8, 2015 in Augusta, Maine.
Born in Boalsburg, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Edward Jacobs and Emma Mae Jacobs.
A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 10am at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Banta was a registered nurse with over 50 years of service. She taught at Horry-Georgetown Technical College as a professor in the LPN program for over 10 years. Mrs. Banta was a member of the Power Squadron in the 1980’s. She was a world traveler and spent all of her free time travelling or enjoying time with family and friends.
Surviving are: her son, David Banta; her daughter, Julie Banta; a dear friend, John; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Banta was predeceased by her beloved husband of 45 years, Mr. Robert L. Banta.
