Obituary of Shirley R. Dix

Shirley R. Dix, 71, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015 at her residence.
Born December 14, 1943 in Pilot Mountain, NC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eva Rorer.
A funeral service, officiated by Rev. Leonard Ripley, will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 11am in the chapel of Graham Funeral Home at 2200 S. Fraser Street. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 in Floral Garden Memorial Park in High Point, North Carolina at 2pm.
Mrs. Dix was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who was a devoted member of Wrens Chapel Methodist Church.
Surviving are: her beloved husband of 54 years, David G. Dix, Jr.; one son, Steven G. Dix (Myra) of Jamestown; one daughter, Sandra K. Britt (Ricky) of Asheboro, NC; one grandson, Zachary Dix; one brother, Wayne Rorer of High Point, NC; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Danny Rorer.
