Mr. Lloyd Allison Shelley, 76, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Tidelands Hospice House.
Born August 27, 1939 in Georgetown County, he was a son of the late Ishmael and Mary T. Shelley.
A retired employee of International Paper Company, Mr. Shelley was a loving father, cherished grandfather, caring brother, loyal friend, and avid cowboy.
He leaves behind: two daughters, Jan Shelley Woodberry and her husband Larry, Stephanie Shelley Hutchinson and her husband Michael, all of Pawleys Island; six grandchildren, Nicole Shelley Sumter, Nelson Lloyd Shelley, Jr., Lindsay Woodberry Krieg and her husband Andrew, Skylar Woodberry, Peyton Hutchinson, and Paige Hutchinson; three great-grandchildren, Jarius, Mariah, and Pierce; one sister, Sandra Shelley of North Myrtle Beach: three brothers, Anthony Shelley and Charles Shelley, both of Carvers Bay, and Jesse Shelley of Texas; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr Shelley is reunited with his son, Nelson Lloyd Shelley, who passed away in 1999.
A visitation will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, January 18, 2016 at Graham Funeral Home. A private burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tidelands Hospice 2591 North Fraser Street Georgetown, South Carolina 29440.
