Shirley Jo Owens Matrasko, 76, wife of Robert Matrasko, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
A graveside funeral service will be held in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 11AM.
Born in Georgetown, SC on March 12, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Robert E. Owens and the late Illa Mae Harrelson Owens.
Mrs. Matrasko was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cross stitching, taking care of her dog, Precious, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 35 years, is one son, George Mobley of Georgetown; two grandchildren, Lucas Mobley of Vienna, Maryland and Gabrielle Mobley of Easton, Maryland; two brothers, Donald Owens (Vivian) and Raymond Owens (Helen) both of Georgetown; a sister, Bobbie O. Campbell of Georgetown; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Lesa Mobley; a grandson, Jacob Mobley; a brother, Billy Owens; and a sister, Sarah Parsons.
