Andrew Johnny Oren Poston, 73, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Hospice Center of Charleston.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 3pm in the Graham Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends after the service
Born March 5, 1944 in Williamsburg County, he was a son of the late Andrew C. Poston and the late Rena Benson Poston.
Mr. Poston was an avid fisherman and enjoyed working on cars. His family was his pride and joy and he loved nothing more than spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are four sons, Andrew Johnny Poston (Anna) of Georgetown; Charlie Poston of Georgetown, Johnny Poston of Awendaw, Harold Tilton of Andrews; a daughter, Sandy Poston; a stepson, Milton Lambert of Andrews; ten grandchildren, Heather Gosnell, Matthew Poston, Rebecca Johnson, Danny Poston, Andrew Poston, Lacey Poston, Shelby Holt, Christian Howard, Brooke Tilton, and David Lambert; a niece, Donna Stidham (Kelli Lorton) of Kentucky; and a number of great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Thomas Poston; a son, Andrew Johnny Poston; a daughter, Rena Michelle Poston; and a sister, Betty P. Stidham.
