Obituary of Gladys Cagle Cribb
Gladys Cagle Cribb, 91, died Monday, May 7, 2018 at her residence following an illness.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 11AM in First Baptist Church, Georgetown, SC. Officiating will be Reverend Ted Sherrill, Reverend Bob Teems, and Reverend Keith Wall. Burial directed by Graham Funeral Home, will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
She was born September 3, 1926 in Georgetown County, the daughter of the late Carl Calvin Cagle, Sr. and Retha Fenters Cagle. Mrs. Cribb was a devoted member of First Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class. She enjoyed floral arranging and preparing meals for all of her family and friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Surviving are her daughter, Betty Andreucci of Conway; son, Wayne Cribb and wife Nancy of Georgetown; four grandchildren Kelly Andreucci and wife Stephanie of Conway, Michelle Thompson and husband Frankie of Aynor, Kristin Wilson and husband Mickey of Conway, and Blair Cribb and wife English of Georgetown; eight great-grandchildren, Peyton Andreucci, Grace Watson Andreucci, Deacon Andreucci, Andrew Thompson, Maura Wilson, and Mary Cate Wilson of Conway and Braxton Cribb and Julia Cribb of Georgetown; her sister, Joyce Owens; her brother, Jimmy Cagle and his wife Sarah; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Roland Kelly Cribb; three sisters, Delores Durant, Ruby Boisvert, and Gloria Mercer; three brothers, Carl “Buckshot” Cagle, Bobby Cagle, and Henry Cagle; and one son-in-law, Mauro Andreucci.
The family will receive friends at 10am on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at First Baptist Church.
