Obituary of Minnie Hill Bone

Minnie Kay Hill Bone, 69, wife of Dwane P. “Dinky Boy” Bone, passed away Friday, August 3, 2018 at Tidelands Health Waccamaw Community Hospital.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Terry Wilkerson and Pastor Eric Shuler, will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 1PM at Georgetown Church of God.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:30AM-1PM.  Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Born in Georgetown, SC on December 11, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Cassie Preston Hill, Sr. and Hazel Hartley Shuler Hill Marsh. She was a member of Georgetown Church of God and loved her work and riding horses.  She enjoyed nothing more that spending time with her friends, family, and beloved grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband of over 50 years, are two sons, Dwane P. Bone Jr. (Melissa) and Francis Walker Bone (Teressa) both of Georgetown; five grandchildren, Whitney Bone, Brandon Lynn, Walker Dwane Bone, Kyren Bone, Tiffany Britt; four great grandchildren, Triston Rutkowski, Reese Rutkowski, Kaydence Moore, and Zachary Walker Bone; one sister, Mary Ida Hill Cribb; three brothers, Oneil Shuler (Betty), Cassie Preston Hill, Jr. (Sandy), Charles Allen Hill; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Judy Hill Elliott and an infant brother, Dalton Earl Hill.
