Obituary of Mary Hopper Richardson

Mary Agnes Hopper Richardson, 72, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 30, 2020. Born on August 5, 1947 in Georgetown, she was a daughter of the late Haywood Elton Hopper and the late Ruth Agnes Ankersen Hopper. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 2, 2020 from 5-7PM, with a Rosary at 6PM, at Graham Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held Monday, February 3, 2020 at 11AM at St. Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church. Interment will immediately follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Richardson was a devoted member of St. Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church and a retired pharmacy technician. She enjoyed her job and spent her free time doing yardwork or spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister who will be dearly missed. Surviving are two daughters, Allison Cruz (Juan) and Tammy Holley both of Georgetown, SC; a son, Tim Holley (Lelani) of Goldsboro, NC; two sisters, Ann Catherine Wilson (Billy) and Frances Howard (John); 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Ruiz; and two great grandchildren, Kynsley Barnhill and Samantha Manzo.
