Carl McCall Wildes, Jr., 70, husband of Sarah Martha Creel Wildes, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, February 22, 2020.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at 3PM. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from 6-9PM at his home, 316 Park Street.
Born on June 17, 1949 in Andrews, SC, he was a son of Doris Wyona Wheeler Wildes and the late Carl McCall Wildes, Sr. He was an Andrews High graduate and worked for Sampit Lumber Company as a chip and saw operator. Mr. Wildes enjoyed shooting pool, cooking BBQ, music, and visiting with friends and family.
Surviving in addition to his mother and his wife of 42 years are his two daughters, Tammy Wildes McClellan (Lee) of Georgetown and Carla Hopkins of Georgia; a step-daughter, Doris Bass (Buddy) of Georgetown; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, June Watford of Andrews; one nephew, Dave Watford (Adrienne) of Georgetown.
