Nancy Carolyn Roberts Hardwick, 83, widow of Reverend Bobby Bruce Hardwick, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Morningside of Georgetown.
Graveside funeral services, officiated by Dr. Freddie M. Young, will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 2PM at Rehobeth Methodist Church Cemetery at 2775 Barnhill Road, Galivants Ferry, SC, 29544. Immediately following the service, the family will receive friends at the family farm at 3082 Barnhill Road, Galivants Ferry, SC 29544.
Mrs. Hardwick was born in Aynor, SC on December 28, 1937 to the late Dock Roberts and the late Essie Richardson Roberts. She attended Aynor High School and was the former owner of Nana’s Steakhouse. Mrs. Hardwick had a green thumb and loved plants and gardening. She was a preacher’s wife who enjoyed sharing her love for the Lord. In her free time, she loved visiting the beach, shopping, and spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed by many.
Mrs. Hardwick is survived by three children, Sherry Palmer (Danny) of Pawleys Island, Keith Hardwick (Rebecca) of Myrtle Beach, Jeremy Hardwick (Erica) of Georgetown; five grandchildren, Courtney Baggott (Travis) of Myrtle Beach, Keith Hardwick, Jr. of Charleston, Joshua Palmer of Pawleys Island, Holt Hardwick and Cason Hardwick, both of Georgetown; three great grandchildren, Briggs and Grier Baggott of Myrtle Beach, Lucas Palmer of Pawleys Island; one sister, Laura Childs of Aynor; and three brothers, L.P. Roberts of Georgetown, William “Billy” Roberts of Bucksport, Carl Roberts (Vonnie) of Gresham, SC.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Roberts.
