Vicky and I were classmates since 7th grade and graduated together fifty years ago in 1971. The Howard family lived a block north of my grandparents on Franklin Street in Brazil, Indiana. Whenever she was in town, Vicky would come to our Brazil Concert Band programs in Forest Park where I serve as band director. I’ll miss her smile and enthusiasm.
