Kenneth L. Mitchum, 67, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at his home. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 3PM at Georgetown Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall following the service. Mr. Mitchum was born in Georgetown, SC on December 31, 1953 to the late Spivey Neil Mitchum and the late Ann Miller Mitchum. He graduated in 1972 from Winyah High School and in 1975 from the University of South Carolina. Mr. Mitchum earned a Juris Doctor degree from University of South Carolina Law in 1979. He was a man of many hobbies but enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Mitchum is survived by three daughters, Laura M. Moyer (Kalib) of Georgetown, Katherine M. Spinks (Alex) of Greer, Lucy Morgan Mitchum of Georgetown; one son, Clifford Neil Mitchum of Columbia; four grandchildren, Emery and Samuel Moyer, and Maggie and Charlie Spinks; the mother of his children, Katherine Bell Mitchum; and his sister, Sylvia G.
