Obituary of Alan LeGrande Evans

Alan LeGrande Evans, 60, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5-8 p.m. in the home of Georgia Hendrick, 403 Indian Hut Road. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday August 13, 2021 in the chapel of Graham Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday, beginning at 10 a.m. Burial, directed by Graham Funeral Home, will be held 12:00 Monday, August 16, 2021 in Sampit United Methodist Church Cemetery. Born May 25, 1961 the was the son of the late Martin LeGrande Evans and Bessie Bryant Coleman. Mr. Evans was a Stall High graduate. He loved the outdoors, fishing, and camping. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR. His most treasured moments were those spent with his family and friends. Mr. Evans is survived by two children, Samantha Graff of Summerville, SC and Ryan L. Evans of Georgetown, SC; five grandchildren, Daniel, Hazel, Riley, Robbie, Kaleb; three sisters, Glenda V. Wilder (William) of Andrews, SC, Yvonne Carroll (Danny) of Georgetown, SC, Sandy Lee Evans of Moncks Corner, SC; three aunts, Molly Bellamy of Myrtle Beach, SC, Georgia Hendrick of Georgetown, SC, Frances Warren of Moncks Corner, SC; and number of nieces and nephews.
