Obituary of Eunice Budd Weaver

Eunice Edna Budd Weaver, 87, widow of Evans McNair Weaver, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021 at her home. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021, at Piney Forest Baptist Church at 10:30AM. Mrs. Weaver was born in Georgetown, South Carolina on January 21, 1934 to the late Doris Cliffton Budd, Sr. and the late Edna Iva Burgess Budd. Mrs. Weaver graduated from Winyah High School in 1952 and then from Rhema Bible College in Oklahoma. Mrs. Weaver combined her love of travel with her love of spreading the gospel by going on mission trips to Russia, Romania, Belize, and Italy. She was a member of Piney Forest Baptist Church. She was a spiritual mother and teacher to many who loved sharing the bible and its teachings through her writings and poetry. In her free time, Mrs. Weaver enjoyed the company of friends, family, and her two special furry best friends, Sweet Thing and Sassy. Mrs. Weaver is survived by five grandchildren, Jessica Cooper (Johnny) of Georgetown, LaRonda Weaver of Georgetown, John Weaver (Nichole) of Winder, GA, Amanda Anderson (Mitch) of Georgetown, Travis Horton of Columbia; four stepchildren, David Earl Weaver, James Weaver (Kelly) Richard Weaver (Joyce), Lois Magdaleme Boyd; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; one brother, Robert Budd of Andrews; and a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Weaver was proceeded in death by a son, Michael Evans Weaver; a grandchild, David Weaver; and a brother, Cliffton Budd, Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Jimmy Swaggart Ministries at 8919 World Ministry Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA 70810.
