Marilyn Jean Jones Lambert, 74, widow of Louis Legare Lambert, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Born in Georgetown County on March 10, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Mary Lambert Jones and the late Z.B. Jones.
She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Elaine Lambert of Georgetown; two sons, James Roger Lambert (Earline) of Georgetown and Louis Edward Lambert of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Louis C. Lambert, Jessica Lambert Hewitt, Stephanie Lambert, Justin Stanley; thirteen great grandchildren; two siblings, Linda F. Cribb (J.P.), Donald R. Jones; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by twelve siblings, Harold Jones, Juanita Hocker, Virginia Jones, Johnny Jones, Bubba Jones, Rob Lee Jones, Rose Lee Joyner, Bessie Fisher, Evalena Newton, Douglas “Mac” Jones, Corrie May Walker and Lilly May Jones; and one great grandchild, Shawn Lee Blakely.
