David (Dave) Willoughby, husband of Dottie Weber Willoughby, resident of Campbell County Kentucky until 2019 passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at his home in Georgetown, SC after a brief illness.
Dave was born in Covington, KY on April 24, 1946 to the late Clifford and Norma West Willoughby. He was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran and Purple Heart recipient. Dave was a member of the Lawler Hanlon VFW Post 5662 in Newport, Kentucky. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who will be dearly missed.
Dave is survived by his wife of 53 years; a son, Christopher Willoughby; a daughter, Katherine Washnock (Brian); three grandchildren, Jordan, Haley, Charlie; four great grandchildren, Bently, Skylar, Jaxon, Ace; one sister, Sharon Hanlon (John); two brothers, Timothy and Clifford Willoughby; extended family and friends, including many of his fellow servicemen and their families. In addition to his mother and father, Dave was preceded in death by a sister, Rachel.
