Obituary of Jeane Mishoe Cooper

Jeane Lorraine Mishoe Cooper, 73, wife of Bryant Harvey Cooper, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022, at 11AM at Graham Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10AM. Burial in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens will immediately follow the funeral service. Mrs. Cooper was born in Washington, D.C. on December 4, 1948 to the late James Mishoe and Aletta Faye Lietz Mishoe. She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church and volunteered with Backpack Buddies. She loved painting, woodworking, puzzles, making jewelry, and photography in her free time. Her greatest joy was her family and she often carried a “brag book” around with her so that she could show them off to anyone she met. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Joey Ethridge (Michelle) of Georgetown, Jamie Ethridge (Monica) of Georgetown; nine grandchildren, Billy Young (Stephanie) of Florence, AL, Ariel Cook of Georgetown, Krysta Cook of Georgetown, Kegan Ethridge of Georgetown, Austin Beeson (Taylor) of Charleston, SC, Cheyenne Ethridge of Kentucky, Mikal Beeson of Georgetown, Chelsea Hancock, Brody Ethridge of Georgetown; six great grandchildren; her twin sister Janet Louise Gray of Winston Salem, NC; and her life-long friends, Jane Cribb and Terrace Price.
