Obituary of Alexander Michau

Alexander Michau, 73, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. A graveside funeral service will be held in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 1PM. Mr. Michau was born on November 4, 1948 to the late Robert Lee Michau and the late Lucille Hartley Michau. He retired from Georgetown County after 21 years of service. In his retirement he enjoyed working in his yard which he kept up meticulously and listening to Jimmy Swaggart. He loved the word of the Lord and placed his hope not in people but in God. His family remembers his exceptional work ethic and witty humor, that sometimes came at the most inappropriate times. He was a strong disciplinarian, but it was his way of loving and protecting his family. Though he was not perfect, his family always knew how much they were loved and how much faith he placed in the Lord to protect them. They are devastated by his loss but thankful he is at peace and free from all earthly troubles. Mr. Michau is survived by two sons, Justin Alexander Michau (Marla) and Brandon Michau; and three grandchildren, Fabienne, Abram, and Estelle.
