We met Mr. Jim when we bought the house next door to him 10 years ago. We didn't have friends or family in Georgetown until we met Mr. Jim. He had just turned 80 and had more life in him than anyone we'd met. He quickly became a grandfather figure to my daughter and a father to me and Tom. Soon thereafter, we met his daughter, Margie. Naturally we fell in love with Margie because she was just like her amazing dad. We all spent time together regularly including going to Modern Seven Hundred for dinner, taking the golf cart to the Belle Isle grill, and just being together in our home. Mr. Jim had fascinating stories full of shenanigans and he ALWAYS wore a smile. His passion for living was inspiring; we will forever hold Jim Harris in our heart.
