Obituary of Patricia Boberg Ledford

Patricia Ingrid Boberg Ledford, 75, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 27, 2023 surrounded by her family. Ms. Ledford was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on March 13, 1948, to the late Stig Halver Boberg and the late Lois Marie Dingwall Boberg. She graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in German and began a fulfilling career as a K-4 preschool teacher. Ms. Ledford was a devoted Human Rights Advocate who was passionate about the rights and welfare of not only humans but animals as well. She spent her free time enjoying mysteries and Agatha Christie novels and spending time with her children and pets. Ms. Ledford is survived by six children; Ben Ledford (Amy) of Charlottesville, VA, Sarah Anne Ledford (John Fulcher) of Swansboro, NC, Nathan Ledford (Bonnie Baxter) of Austin, TX, J. Aaron Ledford (Hector Garcia Alvarez) of Pawleys Island, SC, Zach Ledford (Kelly Whitney) of Dublin, OH, Rachel Tampa (Jared) of Crimora, VA; five grandchildren, Dublin and Zozie Leford of Charlottesville, VA, Cameron and Grace Nowalk of Swansborro, NC, Finn Ledford of Dublin, OH; one sister, Debs Smith (Steven) of Charlottesville, VA; one niece, Amy Emanuel of Provence, France.
