James Matthew Bracy, 85, husband of Maggie Bracy, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Tidelands Community Hospice House.
Born on October 11, 1927 in Roxboro, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Doc Bracy and Erma Bracy. He was a member of United Christian Outreach.
Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; five children, James Bracy, Jr., Micheal Bracy, Nellie Olin, Thomas Bracy and David Bracy; nine grandchildren, Eddie Bracy, Patty Smith, Joey Bracy, Gordan Dickerson, Jr., Gabriel Dickerson, Thomas Bracy, Jr., Kristen Bracy, Joe Bracy and Brittney Bracy.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Micheal Bracy, Jr. and Shawn Reddick.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday, November 30, 2012 at United Christian Outreach with the Rev. Timothy Crabtree officiating. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Graham Funeral Home.
Graham Funeral Home of Georgetown is in charge of the arrangements.
