Ginny, I can not tell you how very sad we are to hear about Steve. We have not seen you lately but I still consider you 2 as dear friends. We always loved being with you and Steve when we were all at Lakewood as a church family. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. He was such a fine man and so enjoyable to be around. I am so very sorry to hear the news that Steve has passed away. Steve and I spent many of years of our careers together, from Winnsboro to Georgetown, South Carolina. I always appreciated his dry wit and his clear insights on the environmental issues surrounding forestry in the South. I will miss Steve greatly. William Snyder
