David Lester Lawrimore, 84, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022 at his home.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 P.M. Monday, March 14, 2022 at Graham Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will follow at 3:00 P.M. in Elmwood Cemetery.
Born in Georgetown County, he was a son of the late Lester Lowrimore and Bessie Moore Lowrimore. Mr. Lawrimore attended Ringel Heights Baptist Church and was a HAM radio operator. In his free time, he also enjoyed golfing with his family and friends.
Surviving are two sons, Gary Lawrimore and his wife Trina of Georgetown and Samuel Lawrimore and his wife Tammy of Denver, Colorado; a daughter, Tammy Joe Newland; ten grandchildren, Sarah Lawrimore, Olivia Lawrimore, Shawn Lawrimore, Renee Lawrimore, Ashley Warren, Rebecca Bradshaw, Kevin Bradshaw, Mary Kay Lawrimore, Courtney Lawrimore, and Edward Lawrimore; and his former wife, Betty Joe Clawges.
In addition to his parents Mr. Lawrimore was proceeded in death by a son, Curtis Lester Lawrimore; a daughter, Melissa Vause; and two sisters, Ruth and Doris.
