Dear Paul, Janice, grandchildren, and family, My heart rejoices in knowing that Aunt Josie is now reaping her eternal reward in Heaven and also basking in all the love and joy of her loved ones who preceded her there. Heaven is a very real place. Someday remind me to tell you how I know. I have wonderful memories of her even though I did not see her but a handful of times during my life. She was vivacious, fiesty, funny, independant, and beautiful. She was kind, caring, loving, and nurturing. She was a role model and will be greatly missed by those she left behind. No wonder my Uncle Albert fell in love with her and never moved back home to New Mexico. My Dad and Mom loved her and always treasured the way she said "Helloooooooooo Nettieeeeeeee" when they would talk to Josie and Albert on those rare occasions when a 3 minute call could be afforded. My mother (Nettie) loved her so and I can swear that when Aunt Josie met her in Heaven on Monday, well, you could just hear "Hellooooooo Nettieeeeee" and "We've been waiting for you Josie" all over heaven.
